You and Me and Gender

This has been a topic that I have been waiting to discuss for a while. It is something I plan on revisiting as much possible because I think it is something people should talk about more often. So, I hope you guys like it and I hope you like the addition of music intros and outros.

when putting hands on hips girls tend to place their thumbs towards the front of their bodies in stead of towards the back.

1.) this was an extremely intuitive post. It really makes you think how are lives are shaped by gender rules.

2.) I don't do much in the morning, but it depends on the day. Days around the house, I'm chilling in sweat pants with my hair tied back. Days where I'm going out or working, I shave, put a little makeup on, do something with my hair, etc.

I say rebel! I refuse to wear any form of jeans that force me to wear tight clothing and i refuseeeee to buy women's hoodies. They have to pass a strict test lol. I know its a cliche but buy and wear what you want, say what you want, act the way YOU want. oh and screw that CD.

umm in the morning....to define my gender......i guess i define my gender when I put my makeup on before work which isn't really much, i refuse to wear foundation during the summer. but yea thats probably it. im not forced to wear gender defining clothing so the makeup is about it.

well, I like to ideally think I don't necessarily conform entirely to being a girl, but maybe I subconsciously do and then my point is moot. anyway, I suppose I prove I'm a girl by having nice clothes and shoes, and occasionally putting on makeup. I like to wear jewelry, and I like my living space to be visually appealing. though I do perform these feminine tasks, I also feel I encompass "male" qualities that evenly balance out any overindulgence in feminine conformity.
